FunnelBuildrBETA

A sign-up page and the page after it, written in your voice and your brand colour, live on your own domain or your WordPress. It never makes up numbers, reviews, prices, dates or spots left.

Last updated October 15, 2026

Before you start

  • What people sign up for (a product, a course, a launch or an event) and a few sentences about it, in your own words.
  • Your profile filled in on your account page: your name (it goes on the consent line and the confirmation email), your email (replies go there), a voice sample (so the pages sound like you) and your brand colour.
  • For an upsell page: your checkout link (WarriorPlus, Zaxaa, Gumroad, JVZoo, a Stripe payment link or any https checkout). Payments never go through Aha Studio.
  • To publish: a free Netlify account and a domain you own, or a WordPress site where you can sign in as an Administrator.

Anyone can try it and preview the pages. Publishing, sign-ups and the ZIP come with an Aha Studio plan.

Pick the funnel

  1. Open FunnelBuildr at funnelbuildr.ahastudio.net, or press Start something new on your account page and choose Funnel.
  2. Pick the funnel type. Waitlist Magnet is for a launch, a product or an event people wait for. Lead Genesis is a lead magnet opt-in: people give their email to get your free guide, checklist or video. SMS Funnel is a text message opt-in: people give their mobile number (and their email if they like) to get a welcome text and reminders before your launch or webinar, sent from your own Twilio number.

SMS Funnel: what is different

  1. Fill in the texts' facts. When it starts and Its time zone (the reminders are timed from them), the Join link, and tick the Reminder texts: 24 hours before, 1 hour before, at the start, or days after sign-up (up to 5). Fill in How often you will text: it is part of the consent wording and the welcome text.
  2. Check the textson the review step. The AI drafts the welcome and each reminder in your voice; you write the middle, and Aha Studio adds your name at the start, "Reply STOP to opt out" at the end, and on the welcome how often you text, "Msg & data rates may apply" and HELP. Each text shows its characters and how many texts it costs: a reminder must fit in one text (160 characters), the welcome in two. A longer one is a yellow [ADD] until you shorten it.
  3. Connect your Twilio on the publish step: your Account SID, your Auth Token (or an API key), and your Twilio number or Messaging Service. Test and connect checks them with Twilio without sending a text; Send me a test text texts your own phone. Texts always go out from your number, and Twilio bills your account for them, never your Aha Studio allowance. In the US, business texting needs A2P 10DLC registration in your Twilio account; you are responsible for consent and registration.
  4. Set the STOP webhook in Twilio. Copy the address under STOP replies into Twilio (your number, A message comes in, Webhook, HTTP POST). Anyone who replies STOP is never texted again by any of your funnels. Quiet hours (no reminders 9pm to 8am in the person's time zone) and a daily limit per funnel are on by default.
  5. Without Twilio the page still collects numbers with their consent and sends them to your lead destinations; no texts go out, and people who sign up before you connect Twilio do not get texts.

Lead Genesis: what is different

  1. Fill in Name of your free resource, Describe it in your own words and Link to it (a PDF, a video or a page). You can write the funnel before the link is ready; publishing waits for it.
  2. Optional: the Format (shown as a "Free checklist" label at the top), Problems that stopped them before (one per line, the way your reader would say it; they become the Sound familiar? list), What is inside, and The old way and The new way (give both and the page shows a before and after). Leave a list empty and that section is left off the page.
  3. Health, money or advice topic? Choose a line under Add a 'not advice' line?. It goes on both pages and in the email, in fixed wording.
  4. The free resource is handed over on every next page: as the button on the thank-you page, and as a link above the offer or the event on an upsell or bridge page. The confirmation email carries it too.

Describe it

  1. Waitlist Magnet: fill in What people sign up for and Describe it in your own words (for Lead Genesis, see the section above). Add Who it is for, The problem it solves, When it launches, Benefits (one per line) and What early sign-ups get if you have them. Prefer to talk? Type or say it under Tell it in your own words at the top, press Fill the form, then check the fields. The microphone beside each box works too.
  2. Optional: open Deliver a link after sign-up to hand over a PDF, a video or a bonus on the next page and in the confirmation email. Open Form and sharing to ask for a first name too, and to add a Share image for Facebook, LinkedIn and X previews and a Privacy policy link under the form.
  3. Choose the page after sign-up under After they sign up, show:
    • Thank-you page: confirms they are in and hands over your link.
    • Upsell page: one more offer with your Checkout link (it must start with https://; the platform is named beside it), an optional Offer name, Price (shown exactly as you type it) and What is in it.
    • Bridge page: for launches, waitlists and webinars. Add the Launch or event, Date, Time, Time zone, the join link and a button. Tick Offer "Get SMS reminders" to add a phone number box with its own consent box. Fill in How often you will text: it is part of the wording people agree to, with "Msg & data rates may apply" and "Reply STOP to unsubscribe". With your own Twilio connected (see SMS Funnel above), each person gets a welcome text and the reminders you tick, timed from When it starts; without it, the numbers go to your lead destinations (a webhook to Zapier, Make or your SMS tool).
  4. Press Write my funnel. It reads your answers, your profile and your voice, writes both pages and the confirmation email, then checks every number and claim against your own words. It takes about 20 seconds. You can leave the page; the funnel opens again from its link and from Your work.

Check the words

  1. Fill every yellow [ADD] box. Any number you never gave becomes [ADD: check the number ...], and any fact a page needs that you left out becomes an [ADD] too. Type the real fact into the words, or remove the sentence. Numbers you type yourself count as yours.
  2. Read the sentences the checks removed (under Sentences the checks removed): urgency, scarcity, reviews or borrowed authority you never gave, like "only 20 spots left", "rated 5 stars" or "studies show". Write them back yourself only if they are true.
  3. Edit anything: the headline, subhead, bullets, paragraphs and button of both pages, the Consent line people tick, the confirmation email and the search and social preview. Press Save and check; every check runs again. Write again writes it all fresh from your answers.
  4. Look at the preview beside the editor: switch between the two pages and between Desktop and Phone. The preview is private and posts nothing.
  5. Press Go to publishing once every tick is green.

Publish on your own domain or WordPress

Your funnel goes live only on your own hosting. Aha Studio never hosts a live funnel page.

  1. Keep your funnel. Wrote it before you signed in? Sign in and press Add to my account.
  2. Netlify and your own domain: connect Netlify with a personal access token, press Deploy to Netlify, then in Your own domain type a domain or subdomain you own (for example join.yourdomain.com), add the record it shows in your DNS (DNS only, not Proxied in Cloudflare) and press Check and secure. The pages, their canonical links and the Open Graph addresses move to your domain.
  3. WordPress: in Publish to your WordPress site, connect your site with an application password, choose the Address of the sign-up page and press Send both pages. Both pages arrive as drafts: the sign-up page at the address you chose and the next page under it at /thank-you/. Connect with an Administrator account: WordPress removes forms for other users, and FunnelBuildr tells you if it did. Publish both drafts in WordPress when you are ready.
  4. ZIP: Download ZIP gives you both pages for any host. The form still sends sign-ups to Aha Studio.

Sign-ups

  1. Press Send a test sign-up. It goes the same way a visitor's does: into Sign-ups from your funnel (tagged Test), to every lead destination, and the confirmation email to the address you type (blank: your account email), marked [Test].
  2. Choose where sign-ups go in Sign-ups from your funnel: up to 5 emails, up to 3 webhooks (Zapier, Make, your CRM or your SMS tool) and up to 3 autoresponder forms (paste the raw HTML form code). Press Save.
  3. Every sign-up is stored with its email, the time the person ticked the consent box and the exact words they agreed to, and the page address with its utm_ tags. From a bridge page, the phone number and the SMS consent (time and words) are added to the same sign-up. Download all as CSV has them all; CSV without test sign-ups leaves the tests out.
  4. The confirmation email goes to each person who signs up, from your profile name, with replies going to your email. It is sent by Aha Studio from its own address, never from your domain, once per address a day, up to 100 an hour and 500 a day per funnel.

If something goes wrong

  • "Fill in every [ADD] box first": go back to the review, fill the yellow boxes, press Save and check.
  • "The AI could not write the funnel": press Retry. Your answers are kept. The message names the model that was used.
  • "Our AI service is temporarily unavailable": we have been alerted. Press Retry in a few minutes.
  • "An upsell page needs your checkout link (https://)": paste the full checkout address, starting with https://.
